HOW DO I START HOMESCHOOLING IN MARIN?

There are many ways to homeschool! Homeschool Association of California and California Homeschool Network have all the legal information you need to start homeschooling. It's simpler than you think! As for classes, curriculum, and all that, meeting with other homeschoolers is a great way to get ideas. If you decide to homeschool with a charter, they will provide you with guidance and requirements. If you homeschool independently (known as a PSA homeschooler), you have lots of freedom!

WHEN CAN I START HOMESCHOOLING?

Anytime! You don't need to wait till the new school year to start homeschooling. You can also start trying out elements of homeschooling like joining homeschooler activities even when your student is still in school.

HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT OPPORTUNITIES THERE ARE FOR HOMESCHOOLERS IN MARIN?

Join our Facebook group or WhatsApp group (coming soon). There are usually a couple park days a week, and homeschoolers are often sharing upcoming classes or activities. And if you don't see something you want, start it yourself and others will join!
